Since Craig Federighi announced more than two years ago from the basement of Apple Park the new era of Macs, Apple Silicon, many models have been released. so many, as they are all updated to Apple processors, and some are already in their second generation.

But Apple isn’t about to slow down its high-speed train called Apple Silicon, and plans to launch more new models in the year that will start in a couple of weeks. At least, that’s what Mark Gurman tells….

In his latest Bloomberg entry, mark gurman He has explained the plans that Apple has regarding the projects that it has underway with different models of Macs. Some new computers that will appear on the market throughout 2023.

New macBook Pros

For starters, Gurman says that the MacBook Pro will be updated with new models in early 2023, incorporating the chips M2Pro Y M2Max. This release has already been delayed a couple of times by Apple, so it stands to reason that it would be the first to see the light.

The Mac mini is another of the Apple computers that will receive new processors, specifically the m2 Y M2 Pro. It is also scheduled to be released in the coming months.

The new iMac will arrive later

Gurman also explains that Apple is working on a new iMac. But its launch will not be until after the summer, since it will come equipped with the third generation of ARM processors from Apple. An M3 that is still in the testing phase.

A curious update. It will be the only Mac to go from the current 24-inch iMac model with the M1 chip to a new one with M3 processorif no model with an M2 processor has seen the light.
