420 car models and 90 circuits on the program

Find out which cars you can drive and on which tracks in Gran Turismo 7, soon to be released on PS5.

Sony does not want to talk about its next Gran Turismo 7 title, no matter what, the information will find other ways to come to us. It is the famous brand Yodobashi Camera which gives us news of the title. On a brochure, distributed in some retail stores in Japan, we learn that Gran Turismo 7 will have a large number of circuits and car models to offer to gamers who are passionate about cars. We owe the translation to PettyWingman, user of gtplanet.

Everything we know about the title so far

A total of 420 car models will be playable, among which are the Ferrari F8 and F12. We also learn that we will be able to feel the steering wheel on more than 300 post-2011 cars, which will be available for purchase in the Brand Central shopping center, or even historic Japanese cars from the 80s and 90s, which will be available from the used car dealership.

We also learn that more than 90 circuits should be available, and that they will include ” realistic landscapes and weather », And this in more than 40 countries around the world. We will find in particular the legendary circuits of Le Mans and Nürburgring, as well as the fictitious circuits preferred by the fans, like Trail Mountain for example.

To store all these vintage cars, nothing could be simpler. The Garage should offer you a storage capacity of 1000 cars, enough to satisfy your collector’s craze. Obviously, you will have plenty of time to modify their appearance but also their performance thanks to the tuning workshop.

In terms of gameplay, we learn that GT Mode will make a comeback and that we can enjoy many challenges of speed, endurance and even drifting. In short, a more than complete opus which is just now waiting to be offered an official release on PS5.

Optimal performance

In addition, Sony had unveiled a few days ago a trailer that presented the advantages offered by the latest generation console to Gran Turismo 7. For starters, players will be able to take advantage of ultra-fast loading times, and therefore of almost non-existent latency in part. The DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are used to recreate the feel of the brakes of a real car.

The visual realism is obviously helped by ray tracing, which especially accentuates the metallic materials present on the cars. To test this already promising game, Sony gives us an appointment on March 4, 2022, just a few weeks after the release of Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 and PS5.
