Probably because of social networks, you only have to wait for the broadcast of the last chapter of a season of any series to go to Twitter and check the number of fans who disagree, that they would have done things in a different way and that they deny from that moment on. So if something like this has happened to you, we are going to bring you five endings that will surely leave you with a checkered face, surprised, frustrated and, obviously, wishing you had not attended such an unfortunate show. There are many more disappointing endings, but we have preferred to stick with these.

X Files
The end of the year 2002 was already very controversial because the way in which they almost justify everything we saw up to that moment is so simple that It does not meet the expectations that the fans made, with that discovery that everything is part of conspiracies and plans to end humanity. Thus, in general, without pointing to anyone…
Although not happy with that, in the return of the series in 2016 something similar happened (or maybe worse). In 2018 things did not improve because they didn’t even give us an explanation for what happened and everything was left up in the air, as if a twelfth season was going to be released that, needless to say, at the moment neither exists nor are there plans to do so. So here we continue, waiting for them to explain something to us about that last ending of X Files.
Dark
The German series is, according to everyone, one of the best science-fiction series on Netflix… although it is an example of how to develop a fantastic story, with time travel and convoluting it to such an extent that the writers themselves, in the season three, they no longer had a clue how to get out of such a mess. So what did they decide? Well, very simple: everything that happened during the first two seasons and part of the third is taken, it is said that it is useless, that we ignore it because it does not count and we solve it all in a couple of chapters in the hope that viewers will buy it: neither of the two worlds existed, only the third one that we know in the final stretch of the third season and it is where things have to be fixed.

Surely one of the fails biggest that the seriéphile panorama has seen of all time. A series based on the novel of the same name written by Robert J. Sawyer and that starts from a very simple premise: all humanity suffers a blackout that lasts two minutes and 17 seconds and, upon awakening, everyone will suffer a vision of what their life will be like after six months.
The thing promised, it broke audience records in the first deliveries but it was soon seen that the story had neither head nor tail. So much so that in the middle of the first season they stopped filming to focus on the plot arc and end the series with dignity… but after 22 episodes it was definitively cancelled. It did not have an ending that disappointed us as such, but unlike any other series, each new installment was in itself an ending that left us with a checkered face. How was it possible for them to waste such a story? Well they did.
Two and a half Men
Two and a half men was a series that existed while Charlie Sheen remained in it but, due to problems that you will all remember (scandals of the actor outside the series) he was fired and the writers invented a really bizarre death: a run over in a subway in France, surely after a push that Rose gave him, that way he made him pay for being with another woman.
The problem came when, to end the series (Charlie was gone but Walden was), they decided to bring him back telling us, all of a sudden, that he had not died and he had only been held and kidnapped by Rose, who had managed to escape and arrive to say goodbye to the spectators. checkered face on…

and we come to the mother of all controversial endingsIt’s always. losteither lost, attracted the attention of half of Spain one morning just to see how that sixth season ended and, incidentally, the entire fiction. The purgatory thing was, surely, the only way out left for the JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof before openly admitting that they did not know how to end the story leaving the bar at the same level as seen in each chapter. Some thought it was fine, but most did not understand that something was used that had never been dropped or outlined in any way before in the entire series. a pity
