Pokémon Legends: Arceus hooks. It’s still not the game fans of the franchise have been asking for for years, but it’s pretty close. As a first approximation, the title meets expectations. In a future post, we will tell what could be improved for another title of this type, but today we will focus on everything that Game Freak should improve in this game via updates.
Fix, please: what should be improved via update
These are the 5 things that I think should be better in the new Pokemon game through an upcoming update.
Mini map
How could they give the game the thumbs up without a minimap? Yes, we know that the scale of the game’s UI is ridiculously small and awkward. We already criticized it in the analysis a few days ago. But touring the Hisui lands, whether on foot, in Wyrdeer, or in Braviary, becomes horribly awkward without a sad minimap.
We can come to understand that it would be further reload the game HUD. But with so much space to explore and so few landmarks, it becomes very cumbersome to constantly open the map to see where you’re going. If implementing the minimap is not possible, the least we would ask for would be a integrated compass at the top of the screen.
The tree
There are an estimated 60,000 species of trees in the world. And there could be another 9,000 more still undiscovered. Well, Game Freak has chosen the ugliest tree of all those that exist to populate your map. We wouldn’t mind at all if they changed the model to a less aggressive look in a future game update.
PC without NPC
In Arceus Legends no pc. Instead, you have to talk to a member of Team Galaxy who acts as a store and as a Pokémon dealer. It would be more logical to implement the ‘medieval PC’ together with the vat of objects. The same thing happens in the town, where we will have to talk to the person in charge of the Pokémon Nursery to make changes to the team. Very cumbersome to have to start a dialog to do such a simple operation.
pokemon organization
The sheepfolds (the PC, come on) in Pokemon Legends: Arceus they are really desperate. Can’t organize and look for the Pokémon inside the boxes It is also a nightmare. there should be one option to organize alphabetically or in Pokédex order. Or, simply by species or types. In this way, it would not be so necessary improve the search system. In addition, the fact that these functions are not there is quite shocking, since the backpack and the box can be ordered automatically.
button to run
Do you also advance through the map by hitting flips with the ‘Y’ button? They should ban all video game developers from using the ‘L3’ to run. Or at least, force them to pay for tendinitis treatments caused to players.
Wouldn’t it be more logical to use the ‘L3’ to crouch and the ‘B’ button to run how has it been done in Pokémon throughout life? Seriously, getting around town without Wyrdeer is a pain in the thumb. Keeping the joystick pressed and directing the character with it is an impossible operation, even more so with the Joy-Cons. Oh, and if you were wondering, yes, flipping is slower than running in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
