99% of companies choose to abandon full-time telecommuting, according to MVGM

The teleworking boom during the pandemic has slowed considerably in 2022. The hybrid model remains the most popular option

Despite the increase in companies abandoning teleworking, the trend to establish a hybrid model, this being the most used model across the different sectors and regardless of the size or number of employees. In engineering and scientific-technical activities, this trend is slightly higher than in the rest of the sectors. Specifically, more than 90% of companies belonging to this field have established this model.

It should be noted how the face-to-face model is especially found in smaller companies, with a gradual pivot towards teleworking as the surface increases. In fact, more than 60% of companies with offices of less than 100 square meters opt for face-to-face training, compared to just 10% of companies with more than 5,000 square meters.

Now that we are entering a “post-pandemic” scenario, many companies have opted to return their employees to the office. Despite this change, the combination of teleworking with face-to-face work continues to be the most popular method among companies.
