A new Mac mini could be presented on March 8

I’ve always had the feeling that the Mac mini is the most overlooked Mac device in the entire lineup. When actually I consider it as a very versatile device. Something between a laptop and a desktop computer. Mix the good of both worlds, since you can take it anywhere but with the power of a desktop. It is true that wherever you go you need a screen, but nowadays everyone has a television. The fact is that it also seems the most forgotten due to the few renovations attributed to it, although that may change if the rumors are true and in the next event, Apple presents a revamped Mac mini.

The Mac mini could be the protagonist of the next Apple event. According to rumors launched by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we could have a new event next March 8th. Mark is one of Apple’s most successful analysts behind his back and always has good information on what Apple may bring to market in the near future. Therefore we must trust that it will happen as he has said and we will then see a renewed Mac mini.

Little information is available at the moment. Logically we will have before us a new computer, at least as far as the interior is concerned since we will have the ttransition to the M1 chip and Apple Silicon processor. We do not know if it will have the same power as the MacBook pro with the M1 Max, but it is not something that we should rule out first. So we could be facing a real machine with features much higher than the current ones.

If the event becomes a reality on March 8, we will continue with a type of online meeting, since the pandemic continues to plague our lives and it is too early to gather hundreds of people in a congress. Which by the way, such a thought just came to me. When a face-to-face event can finally be held, Apple should do something special, very special that will not be forgotten.

As with all rumours, we’ll see if it comes true. Over the days we will get more information.
