Rene Ayarde, a 28 year old young mother, was accused this Monday, November 29 by the murder of an 80-year-old man, To who found dead, beaten and half naked in a corridor of the building where he lived with the phrase “I touch the girls” written with feather on the chest.
The events happened in the past July 19 in a multifamily of Staten Island, New York, when a neighbor found the body without Robert Raynor and notified the authorities. As soon as the emergency services arrived, they noticed that his body had written -at least- three accusations of pedophilia.
At that moment, his family denied that the octogenarian abused girlsas he could barely move because tcancer and arthritis “He was not a saint, but he was not a pedophile either,” his daughter Shakera McFadden said according to the NY Post. According to the coroner’s report, Raynor died from a strong blow to the head and torso, plus he had some cuts on his forehead.
The victim’s daughters they denied that their dad touched girls, although they did recognize that throughout his life, man he was arrested 24 times, mainly for assaults and drug possession between the 80s and 90s, but that his record did not include any charges for abuse or pedophilia.
They arrested their neighbor
Since then, the case was investigated as a homicide, but there were no suspects or a possible motive, until now. Local media reported that last Friday, November 12, Rene Ayarde was arrested, a 28-year-old woman who lived with her three-year-old daughter in the same building as the victim.
In the first instance, Ayarde was not apprehended for said crime, but for having abused his daughter, who ended up in the hospital after he was dumped and dragged down the street the same day the body of his neighbor Robert Raynor was found dead. Rene was arrested when they discovered that the girl had more injuries.
However, his apprehension at the time had nothing to do with the murder of the 80-year-old man. Almost four months later, the 29-year-old she was arrested again but this time charged with Raynor’s murder, with whom he allegedly argued before taking his life, although there is still no information on the motive for the crime or why he wrote the accusations of pedophilia on his body.
