Acer expands its TravelMate P4, Spin P4 and P2 professional notebook ranges

steel has renewed its range of professional laptops Travel Mate with new models of their families P4, Spin P4 and P2. Focused on offering improvements to facilitate mobility without sacrificing performance, these PCs are designed for SMBs and professionals and hybrid workers. All three models feature larger touchpads and a quiet keyboard, with keys with 1.5-millimeter travel distance.

The new models comply with MIL-STD 810H specifications, which means that they can not only withstand drops or humidity, but are also protected from accidental spills of water on the computer. On the other hand, they incorporate Microsoft Secured-core, an advanced security protection at the firmware level. They also have a SecureBio fingerprint reader and an infrared webcam with a cover to close the camera when not in use and compatible with Windows Hello. They are equipped with WiFi 6 compatibility, and can optionally include LTE connectivity.

The TravelMate P4 laptops, with 14-inch and 16-inch screens, and the Acer TravelMate Spin P414-inch display models are available with either a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro processor or an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro processor. All feature a narrow-bezel IPS display with up to 86% screen-to-volume ratio and 16:10 aspect ratio .

The teams Acer TravelMate P4 and Travel Mate P4 Spin incorporate microphones with Artificial Intelligence noise reduction technology, four ascending speakers and integrated DTS sound. Its chassis has been created from a light aluminum and magnesium alloy that also has plastic. Specifically, 27.7% post-consumer recycled plastic, and its packaging is made with entirely recycled components. Those with AMD Ryzen Pro chips carry Pluton hardware security, designed by Microsoft and integrated directly into the processor. It offers identity, data, and app protection on Windows 11 PCs.

The Acer TravelMate Spin P4 has an anti-glare screen protected against scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass and can rotate it 360 degrees to place it, depending on the rotation, in laptop, stand, tent or tablet mode. It is compatible with the AES 1.0 touch pen.

As for laptops Acer Travel Mate P2, it has a 180 degree hinge to be able to place it flat. It has versions with a 14 and 15.6-inch screen, with a 12th generation Intel Core i7 vPro processor. It also features post-consumer recycled plastic in its chassis and touchpad, and OceanGlass touchpad, made from marine-based plastic with a UV texture coating for a very glass-like texture.

Acer TravelMate P4 laptops with 14-inch and 16-inch screens, and AMD processor, will be available from August 2022 from €949. The Acer TravelMate Spin P4 with Intel processors will also arrive then, for a price that starts from the €1,099and with AMD processors from €1,049. The Acer TravelMate Spin P2 will also arrive in August, from €799. Finally, the Acer TravelMate P4 with 14-inch and 16-inch screens and Intel processors will arrive in September from €999.
