Acer introduces the Predator Orion X desktop and new gaming monitors

Acer has unveiled a major product refresh at its GPC 2023 event, including new desktops, monitors, and laptops from various series like the Predator we saw yesterday. For the desktop, the Predator Orion X desktop and two monitors from the Predator and Nitro series stand out. We review its main features.

Predator Orion X

A powerful desktop focused on games, although the truth is that it can be used for any computing task. With a design “inspired by a space capsule” it is a tower with removable magnetic front cover and metal side panels that protect its internal components and can be conveniently removed using a small latch that makes upgrading easy. At the top, it includes a rotating headphone holder.

Its interior is divided into three special “zones” that allow greater freedom of customization. The first is specifically designed to provide greater accessibility to the CPU, the PWS and the SSD; the second corresponds to the two available 2.5-inch bays, while the third is dedicated to keeping temperatures at bay with a 240mm liquid cooling system and strategically placed air vents.
