Adidas puts Chaos at your feet with another pair of South Park sneakers

Adidas continues the momentum of its collaboration with South Park, and returns with a new pair of colorful sneakers.

After having recently offered us a blue and red version of his Stan Smiths with the nickname (the Stan Marshes, of course), Adidas returns to South Park, Colorado. Another fan favorite character, or rather his alter ego, is now entitled to a pair of his own.

This time, the brand is moving away a little from the quartet of protagonists and is interested in taking an interest in the inimitable Butters Stoch. His evil alter-ego, the terrible Dr Chaos, will now be able to sow discord in ShitiPa’Town wearing his own Adidas NMD R1 V2.

As always Adidas has recovered the visual codes that define the character, and once again, its designers have hit the nail on the head. And it starts with the choice of model; the rather exuberant design of the NMD R1 V2 perfectly symbolizes the neuroses of the least intimidating supervillain in history.

Chaos at your feet

The metallic surfaces that mimic the texture of crumpled aluminum foil, and the red dot on the tongue immediately recall the centerpiece of the costume, namely its famous headgear. The electric blue color refers to the jacket he wears all the time. The little touch of yellow at the laces completes the ensemble by referring to its blonde fleece. Finally, the green sole seems to match the color of his pants.

To say the least, this pair is as garish and flashy as the real Professor Chaos. It will therefore be very difficult to match; on the other hand, it will be the most beautiful effect in the cupboard of a collector. Whether you are fond of sneakers, South Park goodies, or both, this limited edition is sure to become one of the centerpieces of your collection.

The set will be sold in a pretty box decorated in the colors of the introductory sequence of the series. On the other hand, you will have to wait a little bit to offer it to you. The pair will be marketed around $ 160 (~ € 140 excluding fees), and will be released on a date still unknown in 2022.
