Advanced Manufacturing Awards recognizes its eight honorees

On October 19, the prizes were awarded to the winners in the first edition of the Advanced Manufacturing Awards. Within the framework of the MetalMadrid, Composites and Robomática Madrid fairs, the value of capacity and innovative strength of the entire industrial sector. The awards have had a large turnout and have earned a prestigious place both at fairs and in the sector.

The final decision was made by a jury made up of recognized experts in the different fields, and by the public. The prizes were awarded by the sponsors of the event, CESOL and Emka, some of the members of the jury, Óscar Barranco, managing director of EasyFairs Iberia and by Raquel Carboneras, head of business development of EasyFairs Iberia.

Winners

  • Better planning and development in the launch strategy of a product: Metabo Toolsby the Cordless Alliance System (CAS).
  • Best technology used in the production process: Robert Bosch Spainfor its Biturbo system and its X-Lock tool.
  • Best technology used in the manufacture of composites: ATE Compositesby Cupra Member Box.
  • Better process automation and robotics: ABB, for its high-speed Pick&Place with automatic robot programming.
  • Better product test or quality control: simonrackby Ecofire.
  • Smart Factory – Best production chain: intrustialfor its cloud manufacturing system.
  • Best sustainable project: MKS Atotechby Uniprep LongLife.
  • Best academic project: UPV/EHU – Tecnalia – AWI, by BioFly.
