The two cult actors from The Office will once again be reunited, this time in a comedy produced by Paramount.
God, yes! Ten years after the end of The Office, the interpreters of Jim Halpert and the unbeatable Michael Scott will once again work together. It was via an Instagram post that John Krasinski made the good news official, by confirming part of the cast of If, his new Paramount-funded series. This time however, they will not be on the same side of the camera.
After making himself known as Dunder Mifflin Inc’s employee of the month, the actor had already cut his teeth as a director on a few episodes of the series. The Officethen on comedy Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, remained rather confidential. He finally made himself known to the general public in 2018, with horror films Without a sound and Quietly 2. This time, the filmmaker takes over the camera for a comedy in collaboration with Paramount. In If, the interpreter of Big Tuna will thus find Steve Carellwho was his World’s Best Boss during the first seven seasons of Ricky Gervais’ series.

A reunion awaited by the fans, since the two actors had not found themselves on a film set since the end of their collaboration on The Office. In addition to Steve Carell, whose role has not yet been revealed, John Krasinski has also confirmed the presence of several familiar faces in the cast, such as Ryan Reynolds (Red Notice)Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter), or even Louis Gossett Jr. (Watchmen, Stargate SG-1).
