After Uncharted, Tom Holland reveals the other adaptation in which he dreams of participating. The game may surprise you.
Tom Holland is making his merry way in Hollywood. The young actor is more bankable than ever, and is currently playing inUncharted, freely inspired by the eponymous games developed by Naughty Dog. A vast project which may well not be the only one that Sony wishes to develop in collaboration with the one who also camps Peter Parker on the side of Marvel. During an interview for Game Spot, Tom Holland said he wanted to tackle another franchise well known to players: Jak and Daxter.
“I would like to make a Jak and Daxter film, and I would play Jack but I would turn it into an A24 film (production company behind Midsommar or even Hereditary editor’s note), very weird and dark. A very strange live-action version of Jak and Daxter”.

Created in 2001, the series of platform games follows the adventures of a teenager Jak and his best friend, Daxter who transforms at the beginning of the game into a “beloutre”, a cross between an otter and a weasel. They will then do everything possible so that the latter can regain its usual form.
Already in development at Sony
The statements of Tom Holland would be an officialization of his involvement in a project. Ruben Fleischer, who directed Unchartedrecently confided that he was working on the development of an adaptation of Jak and Daxter, in partnership with Naughty Dog and Sony Pictures. He explained last February to the media Filmstarts: “Perhaps it’s a more specialized title but close to my heart, and one we’re already working on: Jak & Daxter, another Playstation game that we’re excited to bring to the big screen.”
It remains to be seen whether Tom Holland will be directly or indirectly linked to the project. It must be said that the actor already has a very busy program for the next few years. Among other things, he must play Fred Astaire in a dedicated biopic. A vast project for the one who made his debut on the boards in the skin of Billy Elliott. He could also put on the Spider-Man costume for a third part of the saga, even if nothing is official for the moment.
