The transparent acetate sheets on which the individual frames that would then go to compose the souls in question were made, mainly in the 90s, will be the heart of the Heritage auction starting on 10 December 2021.

For example, fans of Studio Ghibli will be able to get their hands on the production Cel of some masterpieces of the Japanese animation studio, including those of My Neighbor Totoro from 1988, Kiki Home Delivery of the following year and Princess Mononoke of 1997; but there will also be something exceptionally special and undeniably rare up for auction, a original drawing by Nausicaä, princess of the Valley of the Wind, made by the hand of Hayao Miyazaki same.

However, Studio Ghibli will not be the only one to show up at auction.

In fact, in a few hours we will also be able to get our hands on the Cel which shows the red motorcycle that is often seen in the print materials for the film. Akira, whose value is estimated in over $ 10,000; as well as several Cel from Dragon Ball Z starring Goku (over $ 5,000), some Cel from Sailor Moon made for the early 90s anime (over $ 1,000), and a very rare Cel of the EVA 01 unit of Neon Genesis Evangelion, made by Gainax in 1995, and worth over $ 12,500.
