Alien 5: still concept art for the sequel never made by Neill Blomkamp

A couple of weeks ago he had been able to admire some concept art taken from Alien 5, the sequel to the xenomorph saga ever made by Neill Blomkamp. Today, thanks to the artist Geoffroy Thoorens and to the increasing interest of fans in this work, other concepts have emerged on the net that the director of District 9 could have used for his film.

The images show some facehugger eggs in what appears to be a laboratory, plus some xenospleasant situations in which a couple of individuals are faced with the terror of every character that appeared in the franchise created by Ridley Scott.

Sigourney Weaver is Michael Bean they would both have to reprise their roles in the film, which would have completely ignored the existence of Alien 3. In the past, James Cameron and Weaver herself both claimed to love the script written by Blomkamp but things, as we know, went in an unexpected direction.

The film never came true because Fox decided to focus on seeing Ridley Scott’s franchise (with the latter also saying Blomkamp’s Alien 5 “Would never have seen the light”).
