Amazon Announces New Solar Power Projects and Exceeds 1.15 GW of Renewable Capacity

Amazon has announced that it will launch new solar energy projects that will add more than 630 MW of capacity to the grid that will exceed 1.15 GW of renewable capacity in Spain.

Amazon keep moving forward in your environmental commitment with the announcement of new projects to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040.

In total, the company has announced 18 new solar and wind energy projects in Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland and the United States, with which it expects to add 5.6 GW of renewable energy to the grid.
