So now, Amazon’s Fire TV will allow you to add channels to favorites.

For those who know little about this device, the Fire TV guide allows the access to live television. This means that, based on the platforms and applications that we have installed on our television, we can access a more or less extensive programming. In case of a wide programming, we can forget the channels that we watch the most and spend several minutes looking for them. But with the new functionality of the device this will no longer happen to you as you can have your favorite channels located.

The company itself is the one that has announced this new and useful feature since users will be able to fully customize channel guide thanks to this new option that has been incorporated into the menu of this device.

To use it, we will only have to enter the guide, click on the channel that interests us and click on the button with the three stripes on the Fire TV remote control. Once this is done, we will see in the menu the option «add channels«. Click and add it to our list. This way we will always have at hand the channels that we watch the most at home.

Of course, it is important to know that this can only be done with free and subscription-based service channels that are available on the platform. This means that you will not be able to add content from streaming platforms such as Netflix, for example, but only those that the device allows.

You can add them to your personalized list and enjoy them at any time of the day. In addition, it is a great option for children since they will be able to have all the children’s channels grouped in the same guide.
