Apple wants to repeat the success it has had Ted lasso and in recent weeks it has reached different agreements to expand the catalog available on Apple TV + through different comedies. The last one is Amber brown, as reported by the guys from Deadline. This comedy stars Sarah Drew and Carsyn Rose.
This new series shows us the story of a girl who discovers her musical gifts through art and musicwhile dealing with her parents’ divorce. At the moment the scheduled date for the premiere of this new series is unknown, since it is currently being recorded in Salt Lake City.
Sarah Drew is known for her role in Grey’s Anatomy while Carsyn Rose has participated in the cast of the series The Rookie. The series is based on Paula Danziger’s book series.
The Serie, It is also starring Darin Brooks (Blue mountain state) and Liliana Inouye, is written and directed by Bonnie Hunt (Living with Bonnie), who also serves as an executive producer and showrunner. Bob Higgins (Dino Ranch) and Jon Rutherford (A Tale Dark & Grimm) are the executive producers of Boat Rocker.
Amber brown is described as an unfiltered look at a girl who finds her own voice through art and music after her parents’ divorce. Carsyyn Rose plays Amber Brown, a girl who goes through what many children experience, and who makes sense of her new family dynamics through her sketches and video diary.
Sarah Drew plays Sarah, Amber’s mother, a good and loving mother with strict rules. Darin Brooks plays Max, Sarah’s boyfriend, and Inouye plays Brandi Colwin, Amber’s friend.
