Just a few hours ago the rumor of a famous leaker jumped where to everyone’s surprise AMD will move sooner than expected, although on the other hand it was precisely what was expected at the beginning of the chronological order of rumors. Its Zen 4 architecture will be ahead of time to the point that its AM5 motherboards with X670 chipset will be ready shortly. These could be the release dates for Zen 4 and RDNA 3.
It is difficult on many occasions to follow the chronological order of the rumors that are happening, because many times where I said I say, I say Diego as the saying goes. This could define what has been filtered and we understand that there are two reasons for this. At the beginning of the rumors, the new CPUs were expected by the end of the summer of this 2022. Then it was said that it was delayed to match them with RDNA 3 in what would be defined as a great pack of products to face NVIDIA and Intel.
Today the prestigious leaker Greymon55 affirms that it will not be in Q4 when Zen 4 reaches the market, where he also makes the matter more spicy when he affirms that the AM5 motherboards would soon reach the first final production samples. That is to say, they are ready for candy and, as if that were not enough, a few minutes later he said that it will be more or less in this month when you’re ready.

Why this AMD plot twist? We believe this is due to two reasons. The first is logically Alder Lake and in a few months you will see Raptor Lake. Intel is above AMD and by a lot, it cannibalizes the low and medium range, it is superior in the high range and at competitive prices if not inferior in performance/price to Lisa Su. Therefore, Zen 4 has to get ahead as much as possible to mitigate the blow and above all, so that Raptor Lake is not the final confirmation that Intel has returned with the hammer.

The second reason is TSMC. The 5nm have definitely taken off, the production capacity and volume is going from strength to strength and both NVIDIA and AMD are very optimistic about this. Greymon55 says verbatim that much of the above information no longer applies to RDNA 3 regarding its release.
Therefore, it is possible that the product pack that AMD commented on is also brought forward for its new graphics cards since NVIDIA seems to have pressed the accelerator in a hidden way, since the RTX 3090 Ti seems to be a essay testor (in terms of consumption) for manufacturers more than a real GPU option for the market.
