The Squid Game awaits its second season and it is clear that the bar is very high for its creators, because it will be difficult for them to overcome everything we live with their first installment on Netflix. What’s more, so much so that many of its main characters died in fiction and now we know that some will return from Hell itself. That’s possible?
Unlikely, but there is a thread of hope
It is clear that this series is not suitable for all audiences by the crudeness of the situations that are shown in it, and the successive waves of characters that appear and disappear in it. In fact, there are hundreds of poor hopefuls who die during the games although, like everything in life, only a handful really matter to us: the ones that speak and have names, faces and eyes. So applying the logic of what was seen in that first season, which should be the only one to repeat in the second installment? Effectively!! Seong Gi-hun.
But it looks like it won’t be like that, since there is a character who left many of us with certain questions and, therefore, we cannot consider his story closed within the series, although it might seem so for certain moments seen during the first season. We are talking about Hwang Jun-ho, who chased his brother for several chapters trying to find out his whereabouts and, precisely (eye, Spoiler), was shot at the edge of a cliff. Although it falls for him, at no time is his body seen or any detail that confirms that he has died.
And this is one of those situations that has led many to believe that his character could return. Even the actor who plays this detective is as eager as we are for him to return and that finally everything has been left in a scare. In an interview in the middle deadline, has ensured that he would like to know what happened to his characterto return, find his brother again and ask him many questions (also as a detective) to learn more about the game that he has discovered and that is being celebrated in that sinister place.
Some statements that make a lot of sense for fans who cling to the theory of a possible return, despite the fact that there is also no evidence that something like this can be contemplated by the writers of The Squid Game. Which, for that matter, reminds us of the twist ending of the first season when the seemingly old and decrepit contestant disappears from the shot. implying that he had died when in fact he was not.
There are more theories
If from the series they do not want to feed rumors and hoaxes, it is mandatory to show a really dead character, or else the conspiracy theories will grow like mushrooms. And it is that something like this happens with Ali Abdul, another character presumed dead but of whom a scene with nothing explicit was seen either, although we all thought that he passed on to a better life. Here, too, other more complex theories have proliferated, such as the one that suggests that Kang Sae-byeok did not die, although we all saw that she had been brutally attacked by Sang Woo.
