Oppo is set to roll out its Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update more widely to several of its smartphones. In France, several models will soon benefit from the new version.
After revealing when the ColorOS 12 update was going to be available on its smartphones, Oppo has just clarified the list of all smartphones that will soon be eligible in several countries, including France. On Twitter, the official ColorOS account unveiled the update schedule with all eligible smartphone models and countries where the update will be available.
As a reminder, ColorOS 12 brings some new features to Oppo smartphones, including an even more customizable design, a new smart sidebar, a smoother interface, more inclusiveness and even the security features of Android 12. Among all the news on security, the most useful is probably the addition of microphone and camera indicators to let you know when an app is using them.

Here are the Oppo smartphones that will receive ColorOS 12 in France
Since the beginning of the year, several smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer have already received the ColorOS 12 update in France. This is the case of the Find X3 Pro, the Find X3 Neo, the Find X3 Lite, the Reno 6 Pro as well as the Reno 6.
At the moment these are 6 other models that are in the process of receiving the update or will receive it by the end of May. We find in particular:
- Oppo Find X2 Pro
- Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G
- Oppo Reno 4 5G
- Oppo A94 5G
- Oppo A74 5G
- Oppo A54 5G
Several other smartphones are expected to receive the update over the next few months. We think for example of the Oppo A74 4G, the Oppo A54s, the Oppo A53, the Oppo A53s or the Oppo A16s. Oppo announces that it will roll out ColorOS 12 to all these models in the second half of 2022, without giving further details. You will therefore still have to be patient if your device is on this list.
