As tradition dictates, AnTuTu publishes its ranking of the most powerful Android smartphones of the moment every month. The benchmarking platform has just unveiled its selection for the month of June 2022. Here it is in detail.
As you may know, AnTuTu unveils its ranking of the most powerful Android smartphones every month. As usual, there is a selection dedicated to high-end, mid-range devices and flagships at low prices (a whole new category).
If you were expecting change for this monthly ranking, you will have to be patient. Indeed, in the category of flaghips, we find once again the Black Shark 5 Pro from Xiaomi, for the third consecutive time. Indeed, the Chinese firm’s gaming smartphone was already at the top of the AnTuTu ranking for April and May 2022. As a reminder, the Black Shark 5 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest generation SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and comes with 16GB of RAM.
MediaTek and Qualcomm share the lion’s share
But what makes it stand out is its SSD = UFS 3.1 combo, thanks to which writing and reading data is faster than on other devices. In second place, we find once again Nubia’s Red Magic Pro 7, which for a time occupied the 1st place. As for the Lenovo Y90, it still remains on the 3rd step of the podium, with a score of 1,020,942.
Note that once again, this selection is made up mostly of devices equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1with the exception of two smartphones with Mediatek Dimension 9000 chips. On the other hand, we see the opposite effect in the ranking of mid-range smartphones.
Indeed, we find a majority of smartphones equipped with the Soc Dimensity 8100 or 8100-Max from Mediatek. This is the case of the top three, represented by the Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G+, the Redmi K50, then the Redmi Note 11T Pro+.
Now let’s come to the powerful devices sold at an affordable price. This category, recently proposed by AnTuTu, brings together smartphones that display excellent performance and good value for money. Once again we find the iQOO Z5 in the lead, equipped with a Snapdragon 778G and 12 GB of RAM. The second step of the podium is occupied by the opposition Reno 8 Pro equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 while the bronze medal is awarded to the Oppo K9s 5G.
