Twitch was born in 2011 as Justin.TV, a platform specialized in streaming video games. In 2014, it was compared by Amazon and since then it has become the platform for streaming all kinds of contentnot only videogames, (a category that concentrates more than 70% of the transmissions,) although some of the categories leave much to be desired considering that the majority of the public this platform is aimed at is young and where we can also find minors .
Among the different categories in which all the content of Twitch is available, we have to highlight three in particular, three categories that are not focused on minors, an audience that concentrates 14% of users, while 75% is found in an age range between 16 and 34 years.
ASMR
Within this category, where you could previously find the streamers that currently use the Pools, Jacuzzis and Beaches category, we can find a large number of channels that, in recent years, are focusing their activity, the vast majority of which is ASMR. ASMR is a neologism that refers to a tingling sensation on the skin that runs through the body, from the head to the spine through sounds. Some of these channels simulate the sounds that occur during intimate relationships, although not exclusively, if most do, especially the women’s channels. Although I repeat, we can also find channels that focus on offering relaxing experiences for people who enjoy or need certain types of sounds to relax.

Although it has cost a lot, in recent years the advertising of casinos on television and on the Internet has finally been regulated in Spain. However, on Twitch we can find a large number of users who broadcast their games playing slot machine or poker among others, through this platform. Most of the online casinos they play at tend to sponsor the broadcasts, so the player is never playing for real money, even if he encourages his viewers to do so, which can lead to problem gamblingproblems that can become very serious especially among the young public that can already ruin their lives completely.
Pools, hot tubs and beaches
One of the most controversial categories on Twitch and which usually attracts a large number of viewers are the Pools, Jacuzzis and beaches. In this type of broadcast, in 99% of the cases, we find scantily clad women that are in an inflatable bathtub, and sometimes in swimming pools or even beaches (as the category describes), making provocative poses and that encourage users to subscribe or make donations so that the streamer in question writes the name in the body, on a blackboard or similar. Many of these channels add +18 within the channel description, a description that obviously only indicates that the content shown is not suitable for all audiences and that, obviously, minors will not pay the slightest attention. If many of the streamers, because most of them are women, also use Only Fans, it will be for a reason. Within this category, although exceptionally, we can also find live broadcasts of animals bathing.
