The Apcsilmic Dot 1 Mini is a really compact mini PC, so much so that in fact it is only slightly larger than a smartphone, as we can see in the attached image. This equipment stands out for its small size, but also for its specifications, since it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c SoCand can be purchased in a wide variety of different configurations.
As our more advanced readers will have already seen, the Apcsilmic Dot 1 Mini uses the same chip as the Snapdragon Dev Kit, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c, which makes it an interesting option for developers. Regarding the rest of its specifications, this equipment is available in a total of five different configurations:
- 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage capacity and Wi-Fi connection for $229.
- 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage capacity and Wi-Fi connection for $249.
- 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage capacity and Wi-Fi + 4G LTE connection for $269.
- 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage capacity and Wi-Fi connection for $289.
- 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage capacity and Wi-Fi + 4G LTE connection for $309.
The prices are very interesting indeed, especially considering the possibilities of this team in general terms, that is, if we look beyond raw power. The Apcsilmic Dot 1 Mini includes, in all its configurations, two HDMI outputs, two USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, two 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks and a USB 3.0 port. It has Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and with optional 4G LTE, as we have already seen.
The Apcsilmic Dot 1 Mini uses a passive cooling system, which means that it does not have any type of fan and that it offers a totally silent operation. The computer comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, but curiously this is not activated, which means that if we want to activate it we will have to bear the cost of a license
