Appian advances in its internationalization process and arrives in Mexico

Appian continues with a firm step in its internationalization process. has recently announced the opening of its first office for Latin America (LATAM) in Mexico and the expansion of its operations in Iberia to Portugal.

Located in Mexico City, the new office will provide a base for Appian to collaborate more closely with its partners and strengthen its end-to-end process automation offering to its regional customers. In addition, Appian continues its local recruitment process to serve its growing list of clients and partners in LATAM.

As part of this expansion, Appian has announced the promotion of Miguel Angel Gonzalez Serrano like new regional vice president for Iberia and LATAM. With over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, González has a strong track record of successfully building client relationships and delivering exceptional results.

In addition, Appian has announced the appointment of Julio Campoy Folgoso as regional vice president in Iberia for Broad Markets, who will lead the sales teams in Spain and Portugal.

With the opening of the first Appian office in Spain in 2016, González marked the momentum of the company’s operations in the Iberia region. Appian Iberia quickly became the second largest office within Appian EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), with a 864% employee growth in the last five years.

In addition, with the recent opening of the office in Lisbon, Appian already has three offices in Iberia, being Madrid and Seville both located in Spain, a very relevant market for the company that has an important technology hub in the Seville capital since 2019.

Under González’s leadership, Appian Iberia has added to its clients numerous organizations and public sector companies, as well as large IBEX 35 companies, including banks and financial services companies. From his new role, González will be responsible for promoting growth and success of Appian in LATAM.
