Apple becomes the most relevant brand for consumers for the seventh consecutive year

One more year, and it’s been 7, Apple is, according to American consumers, the most relevant brand after a survey among 13,500 American consumers about 293 brands classified in 27 categories.

According to Prophet, the company behind this study, the most important brands they are related (one more year) they are technology, “they can be personalized and help people to connect from person to person without leaving home”.

  3. Spotify
  4. Bose
  5. Android
  6. Instant Pot
  7. PlayStation
  8. Fitbit
  9. TED
  10. USAA

Apple tops our charts again. It continuously proves that it is much more than a phone, a watch or a headset.

It’s interesting to see Peloton and Spotify on this list, as both companies they don’t go through their best moments nowadays. While Peloton struggles to stay relevant in a post-pandemic world, Spotify has been in the throes of controversy regarding its exclusive podcasts.

However, Prophet is optimistic about the future of all these brands.

According to Marisa Mulyihill, brand director of Pophet:

Whether it’s a health tracking device that provides customers with personalized fitness goals and challenges, or a streaming service that lets users create the perfect playlist, brands that put consumers in charge how and when they get involved they win across the board.

Even if the pandemic subsides, preferences for user-driven participation will not go away. To stay relevant to consumers, brands will need to think about how they can put their customers in the driver’s seat and deliver tailored, personalized experiences.
