Apple hires 20th Television creator Erin May to create new content


The hiring of new personnel in Apple offices continues to be the order of the day, movements designed to ensure creating new content for your streaming video platform. The latest Apple TV + hire is Erin May from 20th Television as a senior creative executive.

May has started work today at the Apple TV + offices in Culver City and will report directly to Matt Cherniss, Head of Programming Development, in the role of senior creative executive, according to the guys from Dealine.

Before coming to Apple, May worked at 20th Television for the last year as vice president of drama development.

He worked in the team of the creating dramas for six years, assisted in the creative development of programs with a focus on stories that were represented in television programming.

Erin May graduated from Harvard University, started as an assistant at CAA, before moving to Anonymous Content to work with a talent and literature manager.

After doing an internship for the producers Dan Lin and John Davis, while earning his MBA from Harvard Business School. May subsequently went on to help Peter Rice at Fox Networks Group, then joined 20th Television.

Some most representative series Erin May has been working on are Washington Black, Our Kind of People, Dopesickand Shots Fired series that have not had international repercussion and that have only been broadcast in the United States.

Content creators are becoming in recent years the main objective of streaming video platforms, to create new content and add the Original tag to it.
