On this occasion, Apple debuts a design, which it shares with that of the iPad Air 2022, with straight lines that equate it in terms of appearance to the iPad mini, the iPad Pro, the aforementioned iPad Air and even the iPhone.

As a great novelty, the size of the tenth generation (24.86 x 17.95 x 0.7cm) is virtually the same as the previous generation (25.06 x 17.41 x 0.75 cm) and even weighs slightly less (487 grams for the WiFi model vs. 487 grams for the iPad 2021, and 481 grams for the iPad 2021 model). The problem with this decision is that the Apple Pencil 1 uses the Lightning connector to charge, but also to sync with the iPad, since it is not possible to pair them using another technology such as Bluetooth.

The piece that protects the back is attached magnetically and includes (as you can see in the images that accompany this analysis) an adjustable support that will be very useful to tilt the iPad according to the angle of vision that we want, or even if we remove the keyboard, have the iPad in landscape mode to enjoy a movie.

The keyboard itself also magnetically attaches to the Smart Connector that Apple has placed on the edge of the iPad. This keyboard can be folded all the way to the back, detached, or flipped over so that the keys face the back of the iPad.
