Apple Music to host a live streaming event on the occasion of Kayne West’s new album for tomorrow Thursday

Donda for Kayne West

Apple Music is promoting not only the artists that are part of its universe but also taking advantage of it to promote the music division. For this it will be the Exclusive live broadcast host of a global broadcast event for the premiere of Kanye West’s “Donda”, the rap star’s 10th studio album. This was announced Def Jam Recordings in a tweet.

Def Jam Recordings has announced through social networks that next Thursday, tomorrow, they will release Kanye West’s new album live. In an event that is already sold out and that will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Apple Music will broadcast the live listening event from 8 a.m. local time. The album “Donda” will be released one day later, on July 23rd.

Also announced by Beats, who posted it during the NBA Finals. The ad, created and edited by West, features a cut from the new Donda album video clip titled “No Child Left Behind” and stars American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson. In the ad, the Beats Studio Buds matching the protagonist’s hair are very well appreciated.

Richardson’s story is quite curious: His mastery of the 100m had guaranteed him a trip to Tokyo, but the result was invalidated after he tested positive for THC. He later admitted to smoking marijuana to cope with the death of his biological mother and agreed to a one-month suspension. West’s Donda, named after his late mother, comes after 2019’s “Jesus is King.”

It’s not the first time Apple has live-streamed special events in the past. We have to remember the premiere of the exclusive documentary “Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry” in February.
