For a few days, Apple’s refurbished product store has already had a new product available for sale. It is a very recent computer, and with very good capabilities. To which, if we add the discount that all equipment of this type has, becomes a much more interesting and accessible option. He Mac mini with the Apple M2 chip, in its M2 and M2 Pro variants, released in early 2023, is already offered at a discount in the refurbished section on the official Apple website. This is the first time that these computer models are in that category. However, it is not the first time that a Mac mini model has been put up for sale in this section.
The novelty here is that it is a computer put up for sale less than five months ago. From the MacRumors medium they explain that there is a $200 discount off the original price of 1299 dollars that it costs in the USA. And it is that, although for the moment it is already available for purchase, it is only through the website of that country. At the moment no units have arrived in Spain, and at the moment it is not known when they will arrive.

Refurbished Mac computers have been overhauled by Apple, with official parts and replacements. Furthermore, thanks to this, we can take out Apple Care+ insurance, to extend warranty coverage and obtain a reduced price on the different repairs that we can carry out.
However, within the refurbished section, we will not be able to buy the Mac model that we want. Although it is true that we have a wide range to choose from, they are products whose configuration (both internal and external) is fixed and we will not be able to customize them. In the same way, we will not have all the available product families available either, since availability varies depending on the stock they have.
It is also important to know that, despite the transition to Apple Silicon, Macs with Intel processors can continue to be purchased (in certain models and configurations) in this same section. Of course, with a significant discount compared to the original sale price, and more if we take into account that they are equipment that stopped being distributed (actively) as of 2020.
In the official Apple store in Spain we can find different configurations of the 24-inch iMac, the 15-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, and even some Mac Studio configurations.
