While we wait for the translation of the name into Spanish (if it is finally translated), the guys from Apple TV + have just uploaded to their YouTube channel the first trailer of the miniseries The Shrink Next Door, a miniseries interpreted by Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd which will premiere on Apple TV on November 12.
This first trailer lasts a little over 2 minutes and brings us closer to what the series will offer us from the hand of its two protagonists. Below we show you the trailer, a trailer to which you can add Spanish subtitles if you don’t get along with English.
The Shrink Next Door is a miniseries that tells the true story of Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf, the “therapist to the stars”. This story was first told in 2019 through a podcast and has been rewritten to adapt it to serial format for Apple TV.
Paul Rudd, known for his role as Marvel Ant-Man, plays the role of Ike, while Will Ferrell (Anchorman) plays Marty Merkowitz, one of Ike’s oldest patients.
Throughout the series, we’ll see Ike take over Marty’s life and what starts out as a normal doctor-patient relationship quickly turns into something much worse.
In addition to Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell, in the rest of the cast we also find Sarayu Blue, Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision) and Carey Wilson among others. As we can see in the trailer, the series looks very good. At the moment we will have to wait until November 12 for Apple TV + to hang the first episodes.
