B-Day Apple Park. No, there is no Apple device that begins with the letter B. It is simply the day of new betas for all the company’s software. And one of them, the Macs. Barely an hour ago, the fourth beta of MacOS Ventura for all developers who want to try.
One more step that brings us closer to the final version. A version that will surely see the light in October, when finally all users who have a compatible Mac will be able to update it to this year’s macOS: macOS Ventura.
From the very day that the WWDC 2022 last June, Apple developers have already had the opportunity to test the different betas of the software for this year’s Macs: MacOS Ventura. Well, just an hour ago, Apple has released the fourth version of said beta. Its build number is 22A5311f.
A new macOS coming full of news, some of them already commented a few days ago. MacOS Ventura, number thirteen on the list, has numerous productivity and continuity improvements, such as Stage Manager, Continuity Camera, FaceTime Handoff, Passkeys and a long list of new features.
It should be noted, especially for developers, that it is required Xcode 14 beta to create applications for a Mac with macOS 13 beta installed. If your apps are built with the current Xcode 13, you’ll need to run it on a Mac with macOS Monterey installed.
A fourth beta that brings us a little closer to that final version that all users who have a Mac compatible with MacOS Ventura can enjoy, presumably late September or October of this year. You can check if your device is compatible with the new MacOS Ventura on the same Apple website about macOS Ventura.
