Apple Releases Safari Technology Preview 132

Safari Technology Preview Update 101

Safari Technology Preview provides a preview of upcoming web technologies on macOS and iOS. If you want to be among the first to try the latest design technologies, visual effects, development tools, and more, you should download this experimental browser. Right now the American company has just launched Safari Technology Preview 132.

Apple has released a new update for Safari Technology Preview, the experimental browser that Apple first introduced in March 2016. Apple designed the ‌Safari Technology Preview‌ to test features that may be introduced in future versions of Safari. Version 132 of ‌this test browser includes bug fixes and performance improvements for Web Inspector, CSS, JavaScript, Web API, WebRTC, Rendering, Media, and Web Extensions. Apple says tab groups are not synced in this release.

It is not a bad idea to try this version because it is based on the new update of Safari 15 included in macOS Monterey and as such it includes several Safari 15 features. There is a new tab bar. Which is optimized with support for Tab Groups, along with improved support for Safari web extensions.

What’s more has Live Text function that allows users to select and interact with text in images on the web. Of course, the beta version of ‌macOS Monterey‌ and a Mac M1 are required. There is also support for Quick Notes that helps us add links and Safari highlights that help us remember important information and ideas.

The new update of ‌Safari Technology Preview‌ is available for macOS Big Sur and ‌macOS Monterey‌, the latest version of the Mac operating system to be released this fall. It is available through the Software Update mechanism. You know, in System Preferences for anyone who has downloaded the browser. The full release notes for the update are available on the Safari Technology Preview website.
