Apple Releases Second Version of macOS Monterey 12.5 RC

macOS Monterey

Last week Apple released the first version of macOS Monterey 12.5 Release Candidateand something has seen that has not finished convincing him, so that he has to release a second version of said update a while ago, so that developers and users signed up for the public beta tester program can test it.

So if there are no more last-minute hiccups, chances are macOS Monterey 12.5 will be released eventually. to all users next week. We will see.

A week after the release of what we thought would be a test preview copy of the final version of macOS Monterey 12.5, Apple has just released a second Release Candidate version of said update.

Some error will have been detected in Cupertino to launch a second RC. This new compilation is the 21G72. Last week’s was 21G69. Let’s hope that this bug is corrected, and next week the final version will be released for all users of macOS Monterey 12.5.

Most likely, this will be the last update for macOS Monterey at the moment, since at the WWDC in June Apple presented its new macOS Venturacurrently in beta phase, which will be released to users this fall, as usual.

In the future, there will be new updates to macOS Monterey, for all those users who have somewhat older Mac models that are not compatible with this year’s macOS Ventura.

So, if there are no more last-minute setbacks, all users will be able to update next week to macOS Monterey 12.5 without further test versions, waiting for the September or October we can finally install the new one macOS Ventura and thus enjoy all its novelties, which are not few. Patience, then.
