Apple shares a new behind-the-scenes video of the Cycles series

Cycles

Cycles (Trying) was the first British series, created by BBC Studios, which was bought by Apple TV, a series that premiered in March 2020, to very positive reviews, and which will have at least 3 seasons. The second season premiered in May of this year, however, it seems that Apple is not forgetting it.

The Apple TV + YouTube channel has published a new behind-the-scenes video of the series Ciclos where all the actors of the series appear and entitled Guide to life. Each of the actors does not show a vision of the motivations and struggles of the characters they play in this second season.

Cycles follows Nikki and Jason, a couple played by Ester Smith and Rafe Spall, who are trying to start a family. In this second season, they try through an adoption after multiple failed attempts to get pregnant.

All Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) want is a baby, but it’s the one thing they can’t have. How are you going to fill the next 50 years if you can’t start a family? They’ve already been through The Sopranos on a weekend. After ruling out any other option, Nikki and Jason decide to adopt and face a world of puzzling new challenges. With her dysfunctional friends, wacky family, and chaotic lives, does the adoption agency will agree that they are ready to be parents?

Behind Cilos is the screenwriter and creator Andy Wolton, who has previously worked in Derry Girls, Motherland and Catasatrophe, The Great Travel Hack, The Coopers vs The Rest, Lookalikes and various episodes of the series The amazing world of Gumball.
