Apple shares the first video of the musical Schmigadoon

Schmigadoon

Next July 16 comes to Apple TV + a new musical series composed of 6 episodes and baptized with the unpronounceable name of Schmigadoon. This new series is a parody of the musical films of the past and some of the greats of Broadway and television.

If you take a look at the trailer, even if you don’t like musicals (as is my case), it is likely that you sketch a smile (as has happened to me), so if you are an Apple TV + subscriber, next July 16 you have an appointment for this new series of which we will show you a advancement.

A parody of the iconic musicals, Schmigadoon! is a new musical comedy series produced by Lorne Michaels and starring Emmy Award nominee Cecily Strong and Emmy Award winner Keegan-Michael Key as a couple on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover a magical town in The one everyone lives in a 1940s studio musical.

Then they discover that they cannot leave until they find “true love.” The cast also includes Broadway and television veterans such as Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Aaron Tveit, Dove Cameron, Ariana DeBose, Fred Armisen, Jaime Camil, Jane Krakowski, and Ann Harada.

The program joins a growing collection of content spanning all genres. If there are any genres that are not yet available on the Apple TV + streaming service, they will be in the future if Apple’s talent and show hiring pace is any indication.

Spanning all genres, Apple wants to screw it up in all award contests to qualify for awards that allow it to earn respector from the public as a quality streaming video service, roughly the same as HBO.
