Apple vs Epic Games: 9 wins for Apple. Just one for Epic Games

For many months now, Apple has been in a legal dispute with Epic Games. The trial is proceeding normally and we already know who the judge in the case will definitely decide on. The final verdict is expected to be very favorable for Apple. No monopoly appreciated nor that Apple is a company that should be accountable to others. Above all, make it clear to competitors about what and what they will not be able to attack the company.

The Verge has echoed a internal meeting maintained by those of Apple in which it has been mentioned the progress in the trial between Apple and Epic Games. Tim Cook has stated:

The App Store was created to be a trusted place for users to explore and discover applications. It was meant to be a great business opportunity for developers. They repeatedly ask us to treat them differently, we said no, and they sued us for 10 different items. The court ruled nine of them in favor of Apple and one in favor of Epic. Most importantly, they ruled that Apple is not a monopoly, which we have always known. Apple is in a fiercely competitive market.

Apple faces fierce competition in all segments in which we do business, And we believe that customers and developers choose us because our products and services are the best in the world. We remain committed to ensuring that the App Store is a safe and trusted marketplace that supports a thriving developer community and more than 2.1 million jobs in the United States, and where the rules apply equally to everyone.

Apple is not expected to appeal the single court ruling against it. Something that Epic Games will do, the big loser. Because you have to be prudent for the moment, until the sentences become final. But for now, what is clear is that Apple has just settled further if possible.
