As usual, each time a natural disaster strikes, Apple, like many other companies, pledge to donate money to help rebuild. A few weeks ago, Apple announced that it would collaborate economically in the countries affected by the floods in Europe, being Germany and Belgium the most affected countries.

After the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck the island of Haiti and which has so far caused 300 dead and more than 1,800 injured, Tim Cook has announced through his Twitter account that he will help the country financially to help in relief and recovery efforts.

Our hearts go out to all those in Haiti who are once again facing the consequences of a devastating earthquake. Apple will make a donation to help relief and recovery efforts in affected communities.

The prime minister of the country, has declared a state of emergency for a month:

The most important thing is to recover as many survivors as possible under the rubble. We have learned that local hospitals, particularly the one in Les Cayes, are overflowing with wounded and fractured.

After this earthquake, living in Haiti has become a danger. We all remember the earthquake that the country suffered in 202o, a devastating earthquake that took the lives of more than 316,000 people, another 350,000 people were injured and one and a half million made homeless.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, it is not the first time, nor will it be the last, that Apple agrees to donate money after this type of disaster natural

Fires (Greece, Turkey, Italy), floods (Germany, Belgium), earthquakes (Haiti) … we have been for a few months in which it seems that the planet is giving us a wake-up call.
