What was an open secret for a few days, has just been made official. A few minutes ago, Apple confirmed the date of its next event. Will be the September 14, as had been rumored, at 7:00 p.m. (Spanish time).

It will be a new virtual event, as the company has become accustomed to us since the happy COVID-19 pandemic broke out. With a bit of humor, the guys from Cupertino have christened the event with «California streaming«.

We already have an official date for Apple’s next virtual keynote. It will be on September 14, at 7:00 p.m. in Spain. An event called «California streaming» where Tim cook and his team will introduce the new iPhones this year.

It is expected that in said keynote, Apple will present the new range of iPhone 13, and the new Apple Watch Series 7. It could be that we also see the third generation of the AirPods.

Other possible news to be announced could be a new iPad mini and a new iPad basic level. However, we do not expect to see the new Macs at this event. Most likely Apple will save them for another separate event in October or November.

“California streaming” will be streamed live through Apple’s website, the company’s YouTube channel, and through the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. The usual channels of all the virtual keynotes Apple has made so far.

We also hope that Apple will take the opportunity to announce the official release dates of its next round of updates to software. This includes iOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15. macOS Monterey, on the other hand, probably won’t arrive until an upcoming Macs-specific event.

So, you can already sign up on the agenda on September 14 at 7 pm, here in Spain with the label: «California streaming».
