True to his quote that users who are subscribed to Mark Gurman’s weekly newsletter, received a new edition of his newsletter yesterday, Sunday. In this last edition, Gurman affirms that it is rumored that for a new event will be held on March 8event that Apple will use to introduce the MacBook Pro with the M2 processor.

But, this new model will not be the only one that Apple will launch on the market. They say that Apple will launch that year until three different versions on Macs that it plans to launch on the market throughout this year: M1 Pro/Max, the M2 and an improved version of the M1 Max.

The models that will receive the M2 they are the first models that Apple launched with the first ARM processor: the Mac mini, the entry-level MacBook Pro, and the MacBook Air.

For the March event, Apple would present, along with the MacBook Pro, the Mac mini. This Mac mini will not only be available in the M2 version, but will also hit the market a more powerful version with the M1 Pro.

This makes it clear that the new processor M2 will be a slight increase of power compared to the M1. Between May and June, Apple will introduce the new iMac Pro with the M1 Pro/Max processors and the Mac Pro model that will include the M1 Max processor with up to 40 CPU cores and 128 graphics cores.

Gurman claims that the Pro and Max versions of the M2 they won’t hit the market until 2023 at the earliest, along with the third generation of these processors, the M3.
