Arcane: The series based on the League of Legends universe will arrive this weekend on Netflix

Arcane seems to be the solution for all fans of League of Legends, who have been asking Riot Games for years to launch a series, or movie, based on the video game universe. Two years ago, during the tenth anniversary of the franchise, the company confirmed the development of a new production that would reach TV at some point.

Now we know that is coming to Netflix, through a world premiere. Arcane is also the first series to be co-broadcast on Twitch, allowing content creators on the platform to broadcast themselves by watching and reacting to the first episode.

What do we know about Arcane?

In previous months, it was confirmed that the studio behind its development and animation would be the same one that designed the cinematics of Get Jinxed !, RISE and the K / D / A video clip.

As for the plot, for the moment, the only thing that is known is that the series will tell the vicissitudes of Vi and Jinx in their youth, when they were friends, not arch enemies.

Premiere on Twitch

In addition to being able to watch the first episode on Twitch, players and fans around the world will be able to enjoy the world premiere event that will be held at the headquarters of Riot in Los Angeles. Designed for a global audience, the event will feature an innovative red carpet for media and streamers from around the world to connect with their communities.

The world premiere event will be broadcast by streamers and influencers representing more than 30 countries, and may be co-streamed, so that fans can celebrate the Arcane premiere live with their communities.

At the same time in Mexico City, fans will be able to enjoy the Premiere at the Santa Fe drive-in theater, where they will be able to live the experience simultaneously with the rest of the world.

Heading Wolrds 2021

The series premiere will be in the center of the end of worlds for gamers and fans of League of Legends PI. This year’s World Championship Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard, will feature Grammy-winning artists Imagine Dragons alongside PVRIS, Bea Miller, JID and Denzel Curry, taking players and fans on a journey. Arcane theme through Piltover and Zaun, the two cities where Arcane takes place.
