ASRock 4X4 BOX, new mini PC with Ryzen 7000U

The ASRock 4X4 BOX is a new mini PC with a classic design that adopts a format similar to that of the classic NUCs, and comes with a fairly powerful hardware configuration despite its small size. The great star of this team is its Ryzen 7000U APUswhich uses the Zen 3+ architecture at the CPU level and the RDNA2 architecture at the GPU level.

The base version of ASRock 4X4 BOX comes with a Ryzen 5 7535U APU, which has a Zen+3 CPU on 6nm with 6 cores and 12 threads at 2.9GHz-4.55GHz, and has a Radeon 660M iGPU. The top model is more powerful and has a Ryzen 7 7735U APUwhich has an 8-core/16-thread Zen3+ CPU at 2.7GHz-4.75GHz, and comes with a Radeon 680M iGPU.

In terms of performance we can expect a good user experience even with the most basic configuration, and thanks to the use of DDR5 memory the integrated GPUs of both APUs can enjoy higher bandwidth, which translates into higher performance. In this sense, it is important to note that the Radeon 680M is close to the performance of low-end dedicated graphics cards.
