The Taiwanese company has expanded its catalog of motherboards with four new models aimed at content creators, and equipped with the Intel B760 and AMD A620 chipsets. One of these new motherboards falls within the ASUS “ProArt” line, while the rest are positioned in more general consumer ranges, but equally viable for configuring equipment for content creation.
The top model is the ASUS PROART B760-CREATOR, which comes with the B760 chipset, a mid-range solution, and features a 12+1 phase Digi+ VRM and 50 amp DrMOS. This motherboard has a high build quality, something that is noticeable in both the capacitors and coils, and supports up to 192 GB of DDR5 memory.
Its expansion options are close to a good level for a mid-range motherboard, since it has one PCIe Gen5 x16 slothas another PCIe Gen4 x16 slot, It has three M.2 slots for high-performance SSD drives, comes with four SATA III ports, and includes a Gigabit LAN and a 2.5 GbE connector. It uses the ATX format.
The ASUS ROG STRIX B760-G GAMING WIF is an option more focused on the general consumer market, but it also has a high build quality and it is prepared to mount high-performance components, so it is perfectly viable as a solution to configure teams for content creation.
It has the B760 chipset, uses the micro-ATX format, mounts a V12+1 phase RM, has a 6o amp DrMOSsupports DDR5 at 7,800 MHz, has two M.2 slots for high-performance SSD drives, comes with four SATA III ports, includes a 2.5 GbE LAN connector, has a PCIe Gen5 x16 slot and has a compatible network card with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Models with AMD’s A620 chipset are the TUF GAMING A620M-PLUS and the PRIME A620M-A, They are positioned within the entry range but offer a fairly complete set of features and have a good build quality. They use a Digi+ VRM, support DDR5 at 6,400 MHz, have a PCIe Gen4 x16 slot, have two M.2 connectors for high-performance SSD drives and have a 2.5 GbE LAN port. Both are micro-ATX.
