Asus launches new Zenbook models — including space version — in Brazil

This Wednesday (22) was filled with news from Asus. In a remote event, the manufacturer launched the new models of the Zenbook 2022 line that are coming to Brazil. In addition, the brand took the opportunity to reveal another notebook that is also landing on Brazilian soil.

All products benefit from OLED technology in their screens, which promise better color gamuts and much more “vivid” images. Plus, the models include cutting-edge Intel processors, extremely lightweight designs and GPUs that promise to meet the needs of customers — from everyday users to content creators.

Several notebooks were announced at the Asus event, but the one that definitely stole the spotlight was the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition. The launch serves to commemorate 25 years since two P6100 notebooks from the brand ended up in space — literally — at the MIR station.

And it was this space weather used in the design of the notebook. The color Zero-G Titanium brings the tones of space stations and several details of these structures are seen in the product. In fact, there is a message that, translated, means “the way to the stars, however difficult”. A mini display on the outside of the housing makes everything even more “galactic”.

Other specs include a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display, NumberPad 2.0, 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, Intel’s Iris Xe integrated GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD storage, digital on/off switch and WiFi 6E support.

The Zenbook 14X OLED from Asus is almost a kind of “twin brother” of the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition, but without the space theme. No wonder it brings the same size and key layout features, but with a premium metal finish.

The highlight is a 180-degree ErgoLift opening, which leaves the notebook in an almost flat layout. With the exception of storage that goes up to 1 TB, the other configurations are identical to the spatial version product.

And internally, the Zenbook also attracts attention. It arrives in Brazil with a 12th generation Intel Core i9 processor, RTX 3060 video card (6 GB VRAM), 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Not to mention the audio adjusted by Harman Kardon, for even more quality in productions.

Another news from Asus

Also during the event, Asus showed that it is focused on investing in OLED technology. In addition to equipping the screens of the new Zenbook models, the technology will also appear in another notebook of the brand that is coming to Brazil: the ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED.

The device is the world’s first notebook to feature a 4K OLED screen. Intel Core i7 H-series, RTX 3060, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, three-button touchpad and Asus Dial are other product specifications.
