At 229 €, the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro offers the power of a high-end smartphone and the 120 Hz screen

[Le Deal du Jour] The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro is a smartphone with an excellent price-performance ratio. It offers components close to those of high-end models at an affordable price. This is all the more true as Amazon offers it today at 229 € instead of 299 €.

Xiaomi excels in offering smartphones that are more competitive than the competition, and the Poco X3 Pro is no exception. The latter even overshadows some premium references on the market by offering high-end features such as a refreshed screen at 120 Hz or a very powerful Qualcomm chip, at only 299 euros on the model with 256 GB of storage. Today, it is even offered even cheaper, at 229 € on Amazon, which makes it an extremely attractive offer.

To better understand the offer

  • What’s surprising about the Poco X3 Pro?

For less than 300 euros, you will have a smartphone with a technical sheet close to those of models sold twice or even triple. The screen does not offer infinite contrasts, but offers exemplary fluidity thanks to a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, or 120 images per second. It is very pleasant to consult content, especially on a large diagonal of 6.67 inches with a Full HD + definition.

The Poco X3 Pro also offers very high power for a phone in this price range. Indeed, it embeds the Snapdragon 860, a chip that offers virtually the same performance as Qualcomm’s high-end SoC in 2020, but without 5G compatibility. You will therefore run all your favorite 3D games with graphics pushed to the maximum. In addition, you can count on LiquiCool 1.0 Plus cooling technology to manage the heating of the smartphone on a daily basis.

  • What about the rest of its technical sheet?

The photo is not the best aspect of this smartphone. Only the main 48-megapixel sensor (f / 1.79) is convincing, with detailed shots and colors close to reality. The other three sensors used for ultra-wide-angle, macro and portrait modes produce perfectible shots, but usable if you are not too demanding. We will have warned you.

If autonomy is important to you, on the other hand, you will be happy to know that the Poco X3 Pro is equipped with a solid 5,160 mAh battery capable of keeping it going for around two days. You can therefore abuse 3D games and other greedy applications, even with the 120 Hz mode activated. Fast charging up to 33W (USB-C) is also available. It recovers the entire battery in less than an hour.
