The consulting firm Gartner has confirmed that Atos is the company that entered the most last year in the security managed services (MMS) sector. According to its latest report, Atos ranked first in MMS in 2021, moving up from second in 2020 thanks to 20.9% growth.
According to Gartner, the MMS market grew 9.8% in 2021 to $13.9 billion. In this context, Atos has been the one that has entered the most, after spending several years with cybersecurity as one of its strategic priorities, integrating the technologies of its partners with its own security products in order to offer its own managed security services. .
Atos currently has a network of more than 6,500 experts, and 16 next-generation security centers operating 24/7. It also has several security centers distributed around the world to reinforce security coverage. The last one to come into operation has been inaugurated in Bulgaria.
Within these services, managed detection and response (MDR) services play a prominent role in combating the most sophisticated cyber threats. Atos’ advanced MDR solution, powered by the Alsaac Artificial Intelligence-based platform, offers threat intelligence, detection and containment, security monitoring, and comprehensive incident analysis and response. Atos has recently launched, in this sense, a new version dedicated to data sovereignty as part of its MDR services. In this way, it guarantees that the data of its clients will continue in the same geographical area. On the other hand, Atos has announced that the classic cloud-native version of its MDR service is now 100% carbon neutral.
