Spending idle hours in front of the computer playing Solitaire is something that many of us have done throughout our lives, especially in the office, a game that Microsoft included with the release of Windows 3.11 more than 30 years ago and that removed from the system after one of the various Windows 10 updates. Instead, it included other titles like Candy Crash, however, they are not as entertaining as Solitaire. Fortunately, we can bring back this classic Windows game in a very simple way.
When Microsoft eliminated Solitaire, coincidentally, it released the game Microsoft Solitaire Collection, a game that collects different solitaire games (Spider, Klondike, FreeCell, TriPeaks and Pyramid), in the Microsoft Store and in the Apple and Google app stores.
This new app includes daily challenges and events in addition to different purchases within the application. It allows us to synchronize the progress in the cloud and, if we are Microsoft 365 users, we get double the rewards. In short, a game oriented to mobile devices that the only thing that wants is to get our money in any way.
Who wants to play the classic solitaire of a lifetime, does not want to keep their progress, do daily challenges or anything like that, they just want beat your own time and score record previous. The solution to this problem is to install any previous version of Windows through a virtual machine, something that, without a doubt, is available to very few people.
Another solution, much more feasible, especially if our computer skills are not very high, is to go to the Microsoft Store and download one of the different versions of Solitaire available, such as the ones shown below.

Classic Solitaire is the best game to be able to enjoy this classic again just like we did in the past, since it offers us the same card backgrounds that Microsoft offers us in this classic while it was available natively. Like the Windows version, we can play the Standard and Vegas modes with 1 or 3 cards. In addition, it allows us to modify the size of the cards.
The scoring system is the same as that used by Microsoft in the application. This app includes ads, ads that we cannot remove by using an in-app purchase. Solitaire Cards is one of the free games available in the Microsoft Store with which we are going to be able to pass the idle hours at work just like we did years ago. Like the Windows classic, it allows us to play this classic drawing 1 or 3 cards. But it also includes other modalities such as Pirámide, Golf, El Tontorrón and others.
