JK Simmons once again as Commissioner Jim Gordon?

Commissioner Jim Gordon is one of the oldest and most beloved characters in the Batman universe. He made his first appearance in Detective Comics # 27 in 1939 and bonded with Batgirl in the 1960s. Batgirl was in fact often represented as Gordon’s daughter, Barbara Gordon. In recent times, with multiverse storylines expanded and rebooted, Gordon played the role of Barbara’s uncle or adoptive father (but he always stayed around).

While many international magazines now take Simmons’ participation in the film for granted, we know for sure that the cast of Batgirl will also include the actress of In The Heights, Leslie Grace. The directors of Bad Boys For Life, Adil El Arbi And Bilall Fallah, will direct the project, while the writer of The Flash, Christina Hodson, is writing the script.
