Bad, very bad news, for those who were looking forward to playing the next installment of Battlefield 2042. DICE has announced that they have definitely been forced to delay the release of the game, so it won’t finally arrive sooner than Call of dutybut 14 days later. Will they be affected by the new date?
Battlefield 2042 delayed
We won’t have Battlefield in October. DICE has reported that due to the current situation, development teams are still unable to return to the studios normally, so releasing the game on the original date of October 22 would be a nightmare. For that reason, the launch of Battlefield 2042 will be postponed until November 19th, so we will have to wait 28 more days until we can immerse ourselves in the spectacular world they have prepared.
We have made the decision to change the release of Battlefield 2042. The game will now be released worldwide on November 19, 2021.
Building the next-gen Battlefield during a global pandemic has created unforeseen challenges for our development teams. Given the scale and vision of the game, we hoped our teams would be able to return to the studios as we went through the launch. With the conditions that remain and that do not allow this to happen safely, and with all the hard work that teams are putting in from home, we believe that it is important to take extra time to fulfill the vision of Battlefield 2042 for our players.
His enthusiasm for the game has been very inspiring. We believe in the game we are creating and thank you for your patience as we put some finishing touches on the experience.
The Open Beta updates will arrive later this month.

Vanguard is placed first
The October launch of Battlefield allowed DICE to take the top spot in releases and grab the attention of users before anyone else. And is that Call of Duty Vanguard It wasn’t going to be released until November 5, so Battlefield had plenty of time to hook users on their best weapons.
But the situation has changed. Now Activision has the power to cajole players with the Vanguard campaign (which seems to be looking pretty good) and weeks later confirm the launch of the new Warzone, something that will also grab the attention of many users, especially those who They had been waiting for a new map of Warzone for a long time.
We will see if this setback does not take its toll on Battlefield, although considering the interest generated in recent months, we are sure that the community will not mind waiting a few more days.
