DICE has reported that due to the current situation, development teams are still unable to return to the studios normally, so releasing the game on the original date of October 22 would be a nightmare. For that reason, the launch of Battlefield 2042 will be postponed until November 19th, so we will have to wait 28 more days until we can immerse ourselves in the spectacular world they have prepared.

We have made the decision to change the release of Battlefield 2042. The game will now be released worldwide on November 19, 2021.

Building the next-gen Battlefield during a global pandemic has created unforeseen challenges for our development teams. Given the scale and vision of the game, we hoped our teams would be able to return to the studios as we went through the launch. With the conditions that remain and that do not allow this to happen safely, and with all the hard work that teams are putting in from home, we believe that it is important to take extra time to fulfill the vision of Battlefield 2042 for our players.
