Belle: The princess of dragons and freckles
Beautiful and impressive animations of Belle, a film that will debut in Japan in the course of this month and which will address important themes such as coming of age, family ties, love between parents and children, friendship that transcends species and links between the lives of all.
The film celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Chizu study and always sees Hosoda as the author of the script.
Previously Chizu study had revealed that the film would represent an “ever-changing online world”, also referring to the past works of Mamoru Hosoda, in which the virtual plays a key role in the story, as in Digimon Adventure: Children’s War Game and Summer Wars, titles through which the director wanted to explore, with his intuitions, the reality of modern society.

Suzu, a 17-year-old high school student, lives in the countryside of Kochi Prefecture with her father after losing her mother at a young age.
The untimely loss made Suzu close in on herself and away from her father and the thing she loved most: singing.
After realizing that writing music is her only purpose in life, Suzu discovers a virtual world known as, where she takes on the role of Belle, an avatar that quickly allows her to become a world-famous singer.
Suddenly a mysterious creature, a dragon, appears before her and together, they embark on a journey full of adventures, challenges and love, in search of their true nature.
